Meet James Cortbin: The man behind The Westminster Inquirer

James Cortbin was born on a US Army base in China in 1965. He moved back to America in 1970 and completed school, later going to the University of Wyoming and obtained a degree in History and a degree in Journalism. From there, he pursued a career in independent journalism, covering war in the Middle East.

In 2017, Cortbin began publishing "The Westminster Inquirer", a daily news and commentary website where James goes over the daily news in his hometown of Westminster, MD and offers political insight on it.
